Ingredients
Chicken and Marinade
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup Frank's Hot Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
Wrap Fillings
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup Blue cheese or Ranch dressing
- 2 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup carrot, shredded
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Slice chicken strips: Slice chicken breast into several long, thin strips for even cooking and easy wrapping.
- Marinate the chicken: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, Frank's Hot Sauce, paprika, garlic powder and salt. Add chicken strips and coat evenly. Allow to marinate for at least 10 minutes or up to 24 hours for deeper flavor.
- Cook the chicken: Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken strips and cook, stirring occasionally until no longer pink inside, about 4-5 minutes.
- Prepare tortillas: Place flour tortillas on a plate and spread a thin layer of blue cheese or ranch dressing evenly over each tortilla to add creaminess and flavor.
- Assemble wraps: Layer chopped Romaine lettuce, shredded carrots, sliced avocado, and shredded cheddar cheese over the dressing on each tortilla.
- Add cooked chicken and wrap: Arrange a few cooked chicken strips down the center of each tortilla. Fold tightly like a burrito, ensuring all fillings are secured inside.
- Serve: Serve wraps immediately with extra hot sauce or dressing on the side if desired. Enjoy your delicious Buffalo Chicken Wrap!
Notes
- Marinate chicken longer for more intense buffalo flavor.
- Use gluten-free tortillas to make the wrap gluten-free if needed.
- Substitute blue cheese dressing with ranch for a milder taste.
- Add extra veggies like bell peppers or red onions for more crunch.
- Leftover wraps can be wrapped in foil and refrigerated up to 2 days.
- For a spicier kick, add extra Frank’s Hot Sauce or cayenne pepper to the marinade.
