Ingredients
Produce
- 2 green apples (red or yellow also work)
- 1 carrot (chopped)
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 lemon
- ½ tablespoon garlic (clove, or ginger root)
Instructions
- Chop: Depending on your juicer, either roughly chop your produce into large chunks or remove the tops of the carrots to prepare them for juicing.
- Juice: Gradually introduce all ingredients into the juicer, mixing leafy greens and solid fruits/vegetables to avoid clogging the machine.
- Thin-up: Optionally, add about half a cup of water through the juicer aperture to thin the juice and extract more liquid from the produce.
- Store: Pour the juice into a mason jar or airtight container if not consuming immediately. It can be stored for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
- Serve: Enjoy the fresh juice shots chilled for a revitalizing and healthy beverage.
Notes
- Use red or yellow apples as alternatives for a slightly different sweetness.
- Fresh ginger can be used instead of garlic for a milder, spicy kick.
- Drink the juice as soon as possible to maximize nutrient intake, ideally within 24 hours.
- Adding water can help if the juice is too thick or your juicer struggles with leafy greens.
- Use a high-quality juicer for smoother texture and better nutrient extraction.
