This gluten-free peach cobbler is a delightful, warm dessert featuring juicy peaches topped with a tender, cinnamon-spiced gluten-free crust. Sweetened naturally with maple syrup and organic cane sugar, it’s perfect for those avoiding gluten without sacrificing classic comfort flavors.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

Peach Filling

  • 4 peaches, sliced
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Cobbler Topping

  • 1/2 cup 1-to-1 gluten-free flour blend
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup organic cane sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted (can substitute vegan butter)
  • 1/2 cup milk (almond milk used)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) to ensure the baking dish is ready when the cobbler mixture is prepared.
  2. Prepare Peach Mixture: In a bowl, toss sliced peaches with maple syrup and nutmeg until evenly coated. Transfer this mixture to an 8×8 inch or 9×6 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  3. Make Cobbler Topping: Combine the gluten-free flour blend, almond flour, baking powder, salt, and organic sugar in a mixing bowl. Add the melted butter and milk, stirring until a wet dough forms.
  4. Top Peaches: Using a spoon, drop large spoonfuls of the dough on top of the peach mixture in the baking dish, slightly overlapping but leaving some spaces for steam to escape.
  5. Bake Cobbler: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Cool and Serve: Remove cobbler from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes before serving to let the filling set slightly and to avoid burning your mouth.

Notes

  • You can substitute vegan butter and plant-based milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Using ripe peaches will enhance the sweetness and flavor of the cobbler.
  • Make sure not to overcrowd the topping dough on the peaches to allow proper baking.
  • This cobbler pairs well with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator and reheat before serving.
