This No Bake Berry Cheesecake Trifle in Mason Jars is a delightful, layered dessert featuring a crumbly graham cracker crust, creamy sweetened cream cheese filling, and fresh berries. Perfectly portioned in mason jars, it's an easy and elegant treat that requires no baking and is great for entertaining or as a make-ahead dessert.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 30 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

Crust

  • 10 ounces graham crackers (2 packages, processed into fine crumbs)
  • 5 Tablespoons coconut oil (melted and cooled) or butter

Cheesecake Layer

  • 16 ounces cream cheese (brick-style, at room temperature)
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whipped Cream

  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons confectioner's sugar (sifted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

Berry Layers

  • 2 pounds strawberries (washed, rinsed, cut into 1/2-3/4 inch pieces; some reserved for garnishing)
  • 24 ounces blueberries (washed and rinsed; some reserved for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Graham Cracker Crust: Process graham crackers in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Transfer crumbs to a bowl and mix in melted coconut oil or butter until evenly combined. Set aside.
  2. Make Cheesecake Filling: Using a hand mixer on medium high speed, beat the room temperature cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in sweetened condensed milk and continue mixing until fully incorporated. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and vanilla extract, mixing well. Set aside.
  3. Whip Cream: Chill a clean metal or glass bowl and beaters for 5 minutes. Pour in the heavy whipping cream and beat on medium-high speed until bubbly. Add confectioner's sugar, vanilla extract, and cream of tartar, then whip until stiff peaks form. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  4. Assemble Trifle Layers: Spoon about 1/4 cup of the graham cracker crust into the bottom of each 6-pint mason jar, gently tapping jars to settle crumbs evenly.
  5. Add Mixed Berries: Combine 1/4 cup blueberries and 1/4 cup strawberries in a bowl, mixing evenly. Divide this berry mixture evenly among the jars, layering over the crust.
  6. Add Cheesecake Layer: Add 1/2 cup of the cheesecake filling to each jar, gently shaking or tilting the jars to distribute the filling evenly.
  7. Repeat Layers: Add another layer of graham cracker crumbs dividing remaining crumbs among the jars, followed by another 1/2 cup of mixed berries into each jar.
  8. Chill and Set: Refrigerate the assembled jars for 2.5 to 3 hours or overnight to allow the cheesecake to firm up before serving. Garnish with reserved berries if desired.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother filling.
  • Whip cream closer to assembly time for best results and freshness.
  • You can substitute butter for coconut oil in the crust if preferred.
  • Make sure to chill jars before assembly to help keep the dessert cool.
  • Trifles can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
