Ingredients
Sliders
- 12 count package Hawaiian rolls
- 8 ounces sliced turkey
- 8 ounces sliced Havarti cheese
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
Topping
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Prepare Oven and Baking Dish: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish or a rimmed baking sheet to prevent sticking.
- Slice Rolls: Carefully cut the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally to create top and bottom halves for your sliders.
- Layer Bottom Buns: Arrange the bottom halves of the rolls evenly in the prepared baking dish to form the base for the sliders.
- Add Turkey and Cheese: Layer the sliced turkey evenly over the bottom buns, then place the sliced Havarti cheese on top of the turkey to add creamy richness.
- Spread Cranberry Sauce: Generously spoon and spread the whole berry cranberry sauce over the cheese layer, making sure to cover evenly for balanced sweet and tart flavor.
- Place Top Buns: Carefully position the top halves of the rolls over the cranberry sauce, completing the slider assembly.
- Mix Topping: In a small bowl, thoroughly mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, everything bagel seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar until well combined.
- Drizzle Topping: Pour the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the assembled rolls to enhance flavor and promote browning during baking.
- Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, until the sliders are heated through and the cheese is melted.
- Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes uncovered to allow the tops to brown slightly and the butter topping to crisp up.
- Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and serve the sliders warm for the best taste and texture experience.
Notes
- Turkey: You can use leftover sliced turkey or deli turkey depending on availability.
- Cheese: Swap Havarti with other cheeses like Swiss, cheddar, or Monterey Jack or omit the cheese if preferred.
- Cranberry Sauce: Use whole berry cranberry sauce rather than jellied; the jellied kind will melt and affect the texture.
